Solar cell Metrology for Engineers  (4 days)

At the end of the course the participants will be able to set up,optimize and use the metrology equipment listed below. They will be able to apply statistical analysis to their measurement results using Minitab, a statistical software package.  

Subjects during this 4-day course are:

Introduction to statistics and practical exercises with Minitab.   
Basic statistics
Hypothesis testing
Alpha, beta, confidence, power and sample size
T-test, one and two sided
Anova
Regression 
Chi-square testing
Gage R&R (repeatability and reproducibility)
Statistical process control
Capability analysis

Theory behind installation of, calibration of, operation of and
statistical analysis of results from:
Corescan
Sherescan   
Balance
Lifetime tester
FTIR
Ellipsometer
